Fall quarter classes at the Everett, Edmonds and Shoreline community colleges begin the last week in September. But for now, it’s time to gear up for the fall men’s and women’s soccer seasons, starting with several Northwest Athletic Conference soccer friendlies<\/a> this August before the regular season kicks off in September.<\/p>\n

From Aug. 20-21, there will be 46 men’s and women’s soccer teams playing a total of 45 games at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, the site of November’s NWAC championships<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The friendly results don’t carry over into the playoffs, but they will affect teams’ overall, non-conference standings.<\/p>\n

A one-day ticket is $10, and a two-day ticket is $18. Military and children 6 years old and under receive free admission. Parking is also free during the event. Visit nwacsports.com<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n
